Excellent attorney

Hired Shawn for a retaliation and a data breach related case and he is doing an excellent job already. He is very knowledgeable, one of the cleverest lawyers and very professional. He directs his associate attorney well and takes accountability without just delegating the work. His oversight on my ca...se had been excellent. I admire his professionalism and the level of knowledge that help in a smooth process. He has a history of winning awards and publications speak well for his skills. Hope things go well.

Erickson vs. HHG

Shawn took over my case after Daniel Leland left the firm to open his own shop. Shawn had a settlement within four months of taking over my case. He was responsive to my questions and kept me informed of the process. All in all it was a good experience and I felt that he actually cared about the o...utcome of my case.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
