I hired Mark as my lawyer in a matter to expunge a twenty-year-old DUI that was hindering my ability to get clearance to become a teacher in another state. He did a wonderful job. I had contacted Mr. Herman for expungements thinking it was going to be a hassle, but i was blown away by the ease this was done in. Mr. Herman not only came up to par on the expectations I had for the hearings, but blew past them greatly. I found Mark on Avvo. I was looking for a lawyer with great reviews. After going through so many reviews I narrowed it down to Mark. My thought was that the was a big shot lawyer who would have no time for me. I was surprised when he I called his office and he answered the phone on a weekend, he was ...very polite and without discussing fees, listened to my story and assured me that everything would be okay. I was a bit skeptical I guess due to his very warm disposition because he didn't sound impatient like most lawyers. I called him the following Monday morning and we discussed the details of my case and to be honest I was quite surprised at his fees. After speaking with him I was convinced he was the attorney for me. He started with my case, always keeping me updated and sending me the necessary paper work. I never went to his office or met him in person but I was convinced that he had expert knowledge on the issue. My court date came and we met on zoom due to covid19, his presentation was excellent and in 15 minutes it was all over. The dark cloud hovering over me for 7 years was gone ! My case was expunged and not only that, the Judge also had some kind words for me. This review will not express enough, my gratitude to Mark, he is an excellent attorney and forgive me if my review is too long, but I want anyone reading this review to believe in Mark and rest assured that he'll do his best not just as a hired attorney but also as a friend. It’s a five star for me, he went above and beyond during the height of COVID to make sure my expungement got done, even with complications from the courts. I’m also not in the state of MN. So Mark Herman is the one you want and because of him. I am now a special police officer and now I’m able to pr...ovide a better life for me and my family. He very reasonable.
