Biography
I grew up in Minnesota. I played competitive sports in high school. I worked in factory jobs and door to door sales while in college. I have been practicing bankruptcy law since 1981.
In order to obtain the best results, I spend a great deal of time with each client to ensure we have all the most current and accurate financial information before filing the bankruptcy petition. I have found that the additional work spent before filing saves a great deal of time and concern after the petition is filed. If there are legal issues raised in the case, I stand by my clients to resolution, even if the case is tried before a bankruptcy judge or appealed to the 8th Circuit Court.
I believe that my experience in other areas of law, including trying jury cases, allows me to better represent clients in bankruptcy cases.

Exceptional service
I greatly appreciated the level of service provided by mr. Ferkel and how hard he worked on my case.
