Biography
Kevin is a trial lawyer who represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial and insurance disputes, including intellectual property, unfair competition, class action and professional liability matters.
Kevin has tried a variety of cases in state and federal court, and in arbitration proceedings, over a period of more than twenty-five years. He has appeared regularly before the Minnesota Supreme Court and Minnesota Court of Appeals, and has handled several landmark cases in Minnesota on commercial and insurance-related issues.
Kevin is a shareholder, Chair of the Bassford Remele Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group and its General Counsel. He has also served as the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group Chair and Chief Financial Officer.
Kevin joined Bassford Remele in 1989 after graduating cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Law and Inequality Journal.
