Strategic advice got my out of my job in the best possible way

A friend recommended Justin to me when I told her about some difficulties I was having with my supervisor at work. I hired him to offer strategic advice as I navigated a toxic workplace environment over the course of two years. He did an excellent job of advising me on how to survive in my job as lon...g as I needed to and ultimately leave under ideal circumstances. He was also particularly sensitive to issues related to diversity and inclusion. I would recommend Justin to anyone.

Professional, strategic, calming, responsive

I engaged with Justin after getting his name as a referral from an attorney friend of mine. While my friend had a handful of names he "highly recommended" that we get in touch with Justin. I was recently dismissed from a company I had worked many years with and needed help with negotiations on a seve...rance package and discharge paperwork. Justin was very professional and helped me understand both sides before spending time on the final paperwork and severance package. He gave me strategic direction from the moment we spoke through the final paperwork and was responsive whenever I had a question or concern. I spoke with many attorneys that made what I thought were unrealistic promises and/or demands that would have made this very unpleasant while Justin stayed focused on a winning strategy without long, drawn out litigation. I felt he had my best interest in mind at all times I would highly recommend his services.

Highly recommend Justin Cummins

I engaged Justin Cummins to help me with an employment issue I experienced related to losing a relatively new position. Justin was incredibly professional and clearly had broad and deep expertise in employment law. In addition to his outstanding expertise, Justin has a number of qualities that sets h...im apart from all other attorneys I have worked with in this space. Justin is very caring. I felt so comfortable even in our very first meeting that he would have my back and truly cared about me and my situation. Additionally, Justin is a great strategist. He took the time to really plan and strategize with me to secure the best outcome possible. He offered multiple options for pursing my case. I was grateful that he was very keen on helping me do as much of the work as I could to minimize expense. He is a great coach and is able to explain complex concepts concisely and clearly. He is also an excellent negotiator. When he was in communications with opposing council he kept me 100% informed regarding conversations that were transpiring, which made me feel very much in the loop. He secured a highly favorable outcome for me. I highly recommend Justin and his firm Cummins and Cummins.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
