I am Minnesota’s most experienced lemon law lawyer with over 29 years of experience handling Minnesota lemon law cases, having successfully handled thousands of lemon law cases for Minnesota consumers. I successfully resolves approximately 150 Minnesota lemon law cases each year for Minnesota consumers.

In the rare event a trial is necessary to favorably resolve your lemon law claim, I will be ready. I have extensive Minnesota courtroom experience arguing district court motions and as lead counsel in lemon law jury trials. I have authored articles on consumer protection litigation and has been a guest speaker on consumers’ rights at continuing education courses given by the Minnesota Association of Justice and Lorman Educational Services. I was also on the faculty of ProSource Educational Services where he taught lemon law courses. I have repeatedly been a guest speaker on WCCO radio to discuss consumer protection laws.

I graduated from the University of St. Thomas (B.A., 1993) and William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1997). I am licensed to practice law in Minnesota state and federal court, Wisconsin state and federal court, and the Eastern District of Michigan federal court. I am a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar Association, and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

I was born, raised and live in Minnesota. I have been married to my wife, Dana, since 1993; we became friends when they were in 7th grade. Together they have two adult children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, a young grandson and another grandson on the way. I learned early from my father, the owner of a plumbing company and car wash, the importance of a strong work ethic. From 15 years old through my college years, I spent the summers digging plumbing ground runs and cutting pipe on construction projects. I understand how hard people work for their new vehicles and love to help them when those new vehicle experiences turn sour.

When he’s not working, I enjoy spending time with his wife and family, reading or watching almost anything history related, cooking, traveling and playing pickleball.
