Biography
I began practicing law in 1991. Before that I had a 12 year claim career between two insurers. The last 8 years before law school I was a home office claim manager with responsibilities of supervising litigation in 19 states.
After law school, I was a member of an insurance defense firm in Minneapolis for eight years working for multiple insurance carriers mostly on complex litigation. After private practice I was an in-house trial attorney for 16 years and over my career as an attorney I have tried 65 jury trials and argued 8 cases before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. I have a NITA trial certificate.
I graduated from Illinois State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Drake University Law School in 1991 with a Juris Doctor degree.
