Keil Defense was started by Travis M. Keil, who is a Minnesota criminal defense attorney that specializes in state and federal criminal cases. He has been a Minnesota criminal lawyer who has handled offenses ranging from DUI’s and assaults, to criminal sexual conduct and first degree murder.
Travis spent a significant portion of 2010-2011 monitoring the trial of accused Nazi war criminal, John Demjanuk, in Munich, Germany and, was also intricately involved in the Minnesota Justice Foundation.
Travis believes that everyone charged with an offense should be able to utilize a private criminal defense attorney, and was one of two individuals who volunteered over 600 hours of criminal defense services to those in desperate need of legal assistance. "Since the day I met Mr. Keil, I have known him to be a dedicated, hardworking, and zealous advocate. He has illustrated an ability to handle extremely complicated criminal trials. I would entrust him with any type of criminal defense matter."
"I endorse this lawyer. Travis is a fantastic attorney and one who knows how to get the job done. His knowledge and dedication are unparalleled. He understands criminal law, and knows the ins and outs of practicing law while making sure that his client's rights are protected. I cannot recommend Travis enough -- he is a terrific lawyer and one you should contact immediately if you need criminal representation."
"I highly recommend Mr. Keil for any criminal legal matter. I have watched him use his superior legal knowledge in tandem with his impressive people skills to win acquittal for his client. If every defense attorney displayed his level of strategic and tactical creativity, the people of Minnesota would be very well served."
"Mr. Keil’s tenacity in the courtroom is unparalleled in the legal community. I have witnessed him fight for his clients and obtain great results. We have worked together on several criminal matters, including Attempted 1st Degree Premeditated Murder. His legal acumen has helped numerous clients walk away with dismissals, acquittals, and plea agreements that other attorneys would be hard pressed to obtain. I have been in the legal profession for over 20 years and have witnessed very few attorneys who possess the legal skills that Mr. Keil has. He is highly recommended."
