Amanda knows best

I hired Amanda to handle my divorce. I had completely unrealistic expectations of the whole process. I think I watched too many movies where the divorce process is just black and white. In reality there is so much grey. Amanda was very professional in explaining the process to me. Sometimes I would g...et frustrated and would disagree with what Amanda suggested. Even after Amanda explained it to me I would insist on doing things my way. As any good lawyer would she would advocate for what I wanted but things would go exactly as she predicted. I should have listened to her sooner!

Integrity Driven Representation

Amanda is a direct, but honest and upfront attorney. I retained her for my divorce after having to fire someone that wasn’t living up to my expectations. Amanda stepped in and stepped up immediately after taking my case. She was detailed and concise with the ins and outs of my proceedings, which incl...uded a separate criminal trial for domestic abuse, which impacted my divorce and custody battle. She was readily available at all times and set clear expectations as to what I could anticipate as far as a timeline and the costs involved. She presented all the options and encouraged me to make decisions based on a realistic approach. She kept me grounded and quite honestly “sane” throughout a very difficult time. By the end of the proceedings she was facilitating for both myself and my ex husband. She was that good! She is direct, fair, reasonably priced, level headed and most importantly, she knows what she’s doing and constantly holds herself to high professional standards. I have since referred her to 2 of my personal friends and would use her again if need be. I would very highly recommend Amanda.

Great, reasonably priced attorney

Amanda was my attorney in my divorce and custody case, and was great. She always explained the process, her invoicing was accurate and clear, and my case resolved in my favor. She was also the most reasonably priced attorney that I found. Highly recommend!

My Hero

I hired Amanda to help me with some very complicated family law issues. I talked to a few lawyers before hiring her and they were all good. They all had a plan on how to attack the issue and seemed familiar with the statutes and were absolutely competent but there was something special about Amanda. ...Amanda had a Plan A, B, and C and appeared just as eager as I was to complete the case. The confidence she had just inspired me to trust her and I’m glad I did. She is so kind and empathic while listening to your story which really is necessary with family law cases because they are extra emotionally charged. Leading up to court she explained everything that would happen to ease my fears. She had a plan for everything the judge could say and how she would respond. It was still nerve wracking but I was confident walking into the court room. She advocated for me every time the court pushed back on something we asked for, and we each time they eventually agreed. In the end we were victorious! I’m sure some of the other lawyers could have gotten the same results but the personal touches saved me some mental and emotional anguish. She is very ethical in her practices. She is up front about her costs, there are no surprises on the bill. She is respectful of your retainer and doesn’t waste it willy-nilly. I recommend her to anyone in need of a family law attorney.

Would give Zero Stars If I Could

Amanda represented me and failed to provide adequate arguments in court. In the courtroom she did not bring up half of my arguments that was in my motion that she drafter and I approved. After we left court I asked why and she told me that I would have to pay her another 4k to have the rest of my cas...e argued after I had already paid her 3k. She also added erroneous charges to my bill and threatened to take me to collections for a $200 balance that I was making consistent payments on. Beware if you retain her as she also retains a copy of your credit card information on her bill pay site to use to set your account up in auto pay without your consent or knowledge. I would not recommend her. I am a woman who needed an attorney to fight for me and thought Amanda would be a good choice and after retaining her I feel swindled and in a worse predicament that I was prior.
