Simply the Best

I have been working with Beau since 2019. He isn’t just an attorney, he is a voice of reason and someone who has helped me through an absolute nightmare of a divorce and custody battle. He is responsive, honest and always makes me feel heard. I am so thankful for Beau’s expertise and the meticulous w...ork of his assistant, Melissa.

Very impressed!

I'm so pleased with Beau's work on my complex divorce and custody case. His knowledge and experience made all the difference. He is my first choice for any legal matter.

Be sure he’s qualified before hiring

Hired in December of 2018. First mistake unbeknownst to us was that he didn’t review our case before agreeing to accept, then sat on it just up until the statute of limitations was about to expire months later. Handed us a template for our civil complaint, and had us fill in the blanks, as his knowle...dge of the case wasn’t as good as it should’ve been. In one particular motion that he filed, he copied and pasted my thoughts to him in an email and used that as the motion. I would call to give him new facts that would help us, and he’s cut me off saying “I don’t want that stuff right now, and no one knows your case better than you”. My desperation made me blind to the red flags. Ended up paying him an additional (almost twice the fee agreement) to motivate him to no avail. We’ve never had legal issues prior to this so we had no clue how this process worked. He missed several deadlines to file motions to strengthen our case (deadline to introduce expert witness) not out of lack of awareness, as we pleaded with him to do so well in advance. Judge ultimately ended up striking down said permission to file and gave reason of us having ample time do so and not taking action. In the end, our case was dismissed with one of the reasons being that he cited the wrong laws to apply to our case. He was hard to reach, unless the bill was due. His legal assistant was amazing though. Too bad she’s not the attorney. In his motion for summary judgement, he told the judge that this was not his area of expertise. We consulted another attorney afterwards to see if we could salvage our case in an appeal, but they said that McGraw really gave them nothing to work with in the case file. In consulting with attorneys prior to him, we knew their quality was better from their record in our type of case, but couldn’t afford them. You get what you pay for I guess. In hindsight, we should have terminated him and asked for a prorated refund.

Best Legal representation I could’ve asked for

I hired Beau McGraw to handle a probation violation that I had acquired right at the end of my probation time I was looking at a major extension on my probation and I had been charged with a new case. I was looking at prison time that’s for sure. There were many extenuating circumstances as to e...verything that had happened and with Beau McGraws expertise in the court room and with the law I got everything wrapped into one deal I got the help I needed and very minimal jail sentence which I got to be out for work release. Thank you so much to Beau and his firm for the final legal work and representation I received. I have to say he held my hand through this whole thing and it couldn’t have come out better.

Exceptional attorney!!!!!!!

Beau helped me to win an issue in court on where my daughter would be attending school last fall. My daughters mother wanted her in a school over 50 miles away where she lives. Which means I would become an every other weekend dad. Up until this point I was seeing my daughter all the time. Beau fough...t to keep a daughters dad in her life (like I had been up to this point). He responded to every email, every phone call in a super timely fashion. He was extremely knowledgable on every aspect of my case. He is a great person and a great trustworthy attorney- which are hard to find in an attorney. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an attorney. I've used him before this case, and I will be his client for life based on all the great things he has done for me legally. He is the best in the twin cities! Reliable, trustworthy, extremely attentive to detail and great in court! Attorneys don't get any better than Beau D. McGraw.
