Criminal defense case

This was a very stressful time and Mr.McGraw showed up for me, and took that stress away. He showed care for my situation and got my case in front of the right judge for my case, he made me seen in the very best way in courtroom, He fought the prosecutor and the states recommendations for 36 month pr...ison commit and the judge was understanding of my situation. The state still wanted to impose a 90 day sentence and judge still denied that and gave me a 2 day sentence with time served, No restitution to the state or other fees Just probation. A great end to a long and unfortunate situation! Thank you Beau.

Be sure he’s qualified before hiring

Hired in December of 2018. First mistake unbeknownst to us was that he didn’t review our case before agreeing to accept, then sat on it just up until the statute of limitations was about to expire months later. Handed us a template for our civil complaint, and had us fill in the blanks, as his knowle...dge of the case wasn’t as good as it should’ve been. In one particular motion that he filed, he copied and pasted my thoughts to him in an email and used that as the motion. I would call to give him new facts that would help us, and he’s cut me off saying “I don’t want that stuff right now, and no one knows your case better than you”. My desperation made me blind to the red flags. Ended up paying him an additional (almost twice the fee agreement) to motivate him to no avail. We’ve never had legal issues prior to this so we had no clue how this process worked. He missed several deadlines to file motions to strengthen our case (deadline to introduce expert witness) not out of lack of awareness, as we pleaded with him to do so well in advance. Judge ultimately ended up striking down said permission to file and gave reason of us having ample time do so and not taking action. In the end, our case was dismissed with one of the reasons being that he cited the wrong laws to apply to our case. He was hard to reach, unless the bill was due. His legal assistant was amazing though. Too bad she’s not the attorney. In his motion for summary judgement, he told the judge that this was not his area of expertise. We consulted another attorney afterwards to see if we could salvage our case in an appeal, but they said that McGraw really gave them nothing to work with in the case file. In consulting with attorneys prior to him, we knew their quality was better from their record in our type of case, but couldn’t afford them. You get what you pay for I guess. In hindsight, we should have terminated him and asked for a prorated refund.

If you want the best...

Beau is truly a one of a kind criminal defense attorney. I went to three attorneys before him, and the consensus from all was a poor prognosis and that I "probably needed representation". The problem with those guys is they're not really looking out for you like Beau. They want to passively def...end you, not take action, and let you give them your money for a defense you could get out of a kid in law school. After I explained my situation to Beau, he immediately took action, defending me like I would defend myself. He made aggressive, yet tactful decisions which took a highly "unfavorable" situation and got me the best possible conclusion. Outcome: no conviction, nothing at all. Beau knows his stuff, and he doesn't mess around. You want real defense, you gotta pay for the best. Hands down, you will find that here.

blessed to have him in our corner

Beau has been by our side in this drawn-out process that our family wasn't expecting regarding the sale of a mutually owned home. He fought for us tooth and nail for a fair result, and will now be by our side again since the other party is fighting this result. We are scared but confident with him ...by our side that the courts will once again give a fair judgment to both parties, and he has even suggested how to get the results we are hoping for pushed forward so we can end this battle sooner rather than later. He has been very understanding of our many questions and never makes a question feel stupid. He was also a very strong advocate for us in the courtroom and we hope the same tenacity will help us again. We are glad we chose him and thankful he is continuing to work with us.

Even though I was the defendant in our child custody case, I was awarded full physical & legal custody.

Beau fought the fight of my life, right by my side. My abusive ex & his family hired a high buck atty, in an attempt to take my children (age's 18-months & 7-months) from me. It was a battle, but in the end I was awarded full physical & legal custody. My ex was awarded supervised visitation to see ou...r children at a safety center, where they breathalized him, & supervised the entire visits. The social workers @the safety center noted serious concerns re his parenting, (including showing up drunk 2x,) there notes went to the Ramsey Co judge/referee in our case. After requiring him to take parenting classes, he could resume his visitation. Instead of taking the classes & resuming visitation, he continuously harassed me. Today my children & I have a current OFP, (order for protection) protecting us through 2058. I am so grateful to Mr. McGraw for guiding me, successfully, through the family court system. My children are amazing teenagers today thriving in high school & sports. Without a fighter like Beau in our corner, their lives, my life, could have been very different, & very tragic.
