I, unfortunately, hired Jeff based on his positive reviews which is not what I experienced. I felt exploited as if my insecurities and naivety regarding divorce were preyed upon. It was a complete waste of time and money, because I’d get vague answers and fear/doubt with no plan of action. Except…he ...kept referring me to meet with a CPA at a wealth management firm to prepare a balance sheet (which I had already done), among other things. Jeff didn’t even start the Asset/Debt Worksheet with me and I’ve since learned from my new attorney that that is a prerequisite for the attorney, NOT an outside third party. I feel there were ulterior motives, because I checked on the CPA firm’s referral commission policy. It stated the referrer can make up to 15% of assets per year in perpetuity as long as the assets are kept there. In other words, I think he was hoping that I’d transfer my assets to that firm, so he could make a pretty penny – continually at that! This seemed like a huge conflict of interest!!! Because I sought my own financial advice through a CDFA (thus ruining his chance of referral income), I believe that’s the reason he and his paralegal did not give me the SSDI attorney’s name after originally saying he would early on. Instead, I was told he never even talked to one which doesn’t agree with my notes. Anyhow, I efficiently divorced with a different attorney who operated with a code of ethics and actually put my needs first with no self-serving opportunities. I wish I could list her name here as it was like night and day!

Jeff protected me and my children throughout a complicated divorce. I wanted to be with my two kids at least half of their growth time. Jeff helped me secure my half-time physical custody to father by two kids. He explained my different options very clearly to me and helped me decide the best option ...(for both short and long terms) and the best approach drawn from his decades-long experience. He negotiated the best settlement I could hope for. Throughout the entire process, he always put my interests first instead of the billable hours. He was understanding, and showed he actually cared. Jeff had his sense of humor at times and ability to calm often tense situations, which was a savior at the heaviest time of my life.

Jeff Arrigoni was my attorney for my divorce in 1999-2000. He and his staff made my divorce experience thorough, fast, and easy. My situation was pretty simple; no kids, and not a lot of valuables or estate issues to settle. We started the process, and in a matter of 6-7 months is was finalized.... I was very happy how things progressed, and during the process there was always communication with him or his staff on details, and follow up questions to keep things moving along. In the end, no divorce is fun, but when it is final, you want it to be final. There were no issues or points of contention after the divorce, meaning Jeff did a very thorough job with the details to prevent this.
