Deeply Passionate, Dedicated and knowledgeable.

In 2016 and 2017 I had two opportunities to work with Lyndsay Howard and her staff at Howard Family Law, LLC. Once as Defendant and as Plaintiff. Both were dealing with sensitive child custody issues. Family Law at best is a hard compromise in emotions and the systematic destruction and rebu...ilding of a family life. Lyndsay has the compassion to see both sides of the coin, reach across and find the compromise. Her staff is very quick to act and appear to balance their clients very well. Managing the customer's expectations to the results is an almost impossible task. Lyndsay in my experience provides the results. No counsel can ever promise to get everything you want, but you can count on Lyndsay and her group to get what is important. What is needed and what has value. And to limit the impact on the children. What Lyndsay brings to the table is a thorough understanding of the court system, the process and the fuzzy nature of this part of the Justice System. Haveing a guide through this process is a must. Lyndsay is this guide. If you're looking to seek equitable resolution and recover as much of the family as possible, I strongly suggest you endeavor to engage Howard Family Law. Lyndsay has the compassion and empathy if she takes your cause and the dedication and knowledge to see it resolved correctly. As a once Il rig fire fighter once was quoted: "If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." R. Adair

Real Person. Real Laywer

I was referred to Lyndsay by another girlfriend that was using her for child custody. Lyndsay was very accessible and met with me right away (within 3 business days). What 'sold' me on Lyndsay and her service as a lawyer was not only her legal/law experience and knowledge but also her attitude. Sh...e was a real person and gave me real scenarios and past case studies so I knew what to expect. I LOVED how she was a "REAL" person, and not just using legal jargon. She was on my side, wanted the best for me and even threw in a bit of humor and fun language to boot. :) I will use her again when/if necessary.

Wonderful Lawyer

Very knowledgeable, caring, and straight forward attorney. Have recommended her to others and will continue to recommend her to anyone that needs these services. Lyndsay helped me with some post-divorce custody issues and advocated for my best interests as well as the best interests of all my childre...n. She knew what avenues would be best for us and always explained why. I cannot express how much I appreciate Lyndsay and her thoughtfulness during this time of my life. Thank you

Super Lawyer for 3rd-Party Custody and Grandparent's Right's

We had a very difficult Grandparent Rights Family Law Case, and felt totally lost until we met Lyndsay Howard. She didn't just represent us; she guided us through the entire legal process and made sure the best interests of our Granddaughter were upheld. This was the very first time we felt we had s...omeone who cared and was willing to fight the injustice of being unfairly prohibited from visitation with our Granddaughter handed to us from a hostile parent, the judicial system and "Hometown" Lawyers. Lyndsay's preparation, understanding of the law and courtroom presentation were superb. She has the utmost respect of judges and the clerks in the courtroom and is professional, highly intelligent, and courteous but not a push over. She is a bull dog when she needs to be. She treated me and my husband as if we were the only clients she was working with. She took time to explain our case to us, and was always available when ever we had any questions. I would describe Lyndsay as a very organized, knowledgeable, dependable, caring attorney. We never felt put off or uninformed for a moment, we could feel the genuine compassion and earnest drive to win at any cost for my granddaughters sake. We would not have won regular grandparent visitation if it had not been for Lyndsay. We are honored to have worked with her. She restored our faith in the system and there are very few lawyers we have ever spoken with that had heart like her. Compassion, Knowledge and Integrity! We hope to never have a need to use Lyndsay again but would recommend her highly to anyone.

MS LYNDSAY HOWARD SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SUPER-LAWYERS OF MINNESOTA!!

EVERYTHING that Ms. Howard did from the initial phone interview to the first meeting in preparing me on what to expect, to the end. I had less than two weeks to find a lawyer before I moved one of our sons to the East Coast & I did a lot of homework on Attorneys & their web pages & by phoning them. ... One lawyer was a partner with the Mediator we had & I can say without reservation, I am glad I picked Ms Howard above her and the others! The main reason was being in close proximity to where I live, her years of experience, her experience with the ENE and mediation process. Though, the very end has not quite happened yet, as I am keeping her abreast of the two remaining pieces (the house refinance & the change in title on our joint SUV - am still having problems with GMAC getting the lien release, so I can switch it over officially. (My EX has signed off on the title as a formality til I get the lien release & the refinance should happen within the next 10 days.) I do NOT mind paying her very affordable fees in sending her update emails til the house refinance is closed upon! Ms Howard is a VERY PROFESSIONAL & knowledgeable Attorney, who made the difference in our only appearance before a Mediator & with my EX's request to not do any more mediation, Ms Howard led the offer, counter offer with the Plaintiff's Attorney (my Ex's Atty). She was the one who spent the time putting together all of the paperwork that was submitted to the Court and for file purposes. At times, because of my Ex's abusiveness, Ms Howard was there for counsel and advising me what to do or not to do! She originally advised me not take our house & I would have received better with spousal maintenance. Because of my Ex being somewhat abusive to my 4-sons (19-24), the two younger ones did not want to move, so without consulting Ms Howard, I told her I had to accept the house with ALL of the thousands of dollars in repairs & upgrades, just to be there for my sons! Ms Howard accepted that & swiftly changed pace and got me as good or better of a marital settlement with my EX. Even though this is private between me & Ms Howard, she had told me that she was surprised at how well I did in the settlement process. Which was very reassuring and a positive note to her due diligence! Ms Howard was very prompt with emails and phone calls when I was frustrated with my Ex's actions & was reassuring! I PERSONALLY FEEL THAT I RECEIVED THE BEST DIVORCE CARE AND ATTENTION THAT ANYONE COULD EVER HAVE RECEIVED AND THE AMOUNT OF FEES THAT I PAID WERE WELL WORTH WHAT MS HOWARD CHARGED ME!!!!! I was VERY proud of Ms Howard professionally when we were in the ICM in Dakota County Courtroom before the Judge explaining how things worked, as well at the Mediator's in suggesting a quick settlement offer on the house when my EX originally was going to keep the house & in making the offers & counter offers! THANK YOU MS HOWARD FOR EVERYTHING!!! Divorces only happen once (I hope for me!) But, should I ever need legal divorce help for me, a family member or friend, I will not hesitate to call on you with your experience & professionalism and knowledge! (I have given one person her name & my recommendation.)
