Nicolet Yelena Lyon

Nicolet Lyon practices in ERISA employee benefits such as long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, health insurance, and pension. A native of St. Paul, she attended the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas School of Law.

Nicolet co-chairs the Minnesota Women Lawyers Community Action & Advocacy Committee which connects women attorneys with volunteer and service opportunities. She serves on the Minnesota State Bar Association Wills for Heroes Project which provides estate plans for Minnesota first responders free of charge. Nicolet is also a volunteer estate planning attorney with Cancer Legal Care, providing pro bono estate planning services to families coping with cancer diagnoses. Nicolet is a “repeat offender” in the Minnesota State Bar Association North Star Lawyer, recognized for providing over 50 hours of pro bono representation per year in her community. In her free time, she spends time with her husband and young daughter, listens to classical music, and does a bit of yoga.
