Mike served his community as an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer organizing low-income tenants to better understand their legal rights as tenants and to have a public forum through which they could advocate for their rights. Mike then joined the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless where he organized with people experiencing homelessness.
