Scott was my divorce lawyer 20 years ago. In 2021 I looked into my ex’s pension for which I’d get half. Much to my amazement, Scott NEVER filed the QDRO to the courts! I almost didn’t get anything. To his credit, he did file it when I called at that time. However, my ex went to draw from his pension ...March 2025 only to discover the QDRO was filed wrong and would need to be amended and filed in court again. UGH! I’ve spent the last 4+ months trying to get Scott to fix HIS mistake. He answered 2 out of 20 emails sent. He called me 3 times after I called him countless times. I resorted to calling from 3 different numbers in case he was screening my calls. I even offered to pay him. I finally contacted a different lawyer who gave me good advice and the names of 3 people to review an amended QDRO. I got Adobe free 7 day trail and edited the document and after a couple back and forth emails with the said 3 people, I completed the QDRO with their approval and had my ex and myself sign. I did this in a matter of days which Scott didn’t complete in 4+ months. Terrible customer service. I called the judicial self help number who directed me submit to courts online. I then FIRED Scott promptly and swiftly. Adios Mr. Martin
