While I have been primarily in the general practice of law for much of that time, I worked for the Social Security Administration at the Hearing Level as an attorney and I have been handling Social Security cases through the years.
My practice has also included working with clients with physical and mental impairments as trial lawyer in personal injury cases. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Social Work is from the University of Minnesota and my Juris Doctorate Degree is from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. I chose to specialize in Social Security Disability Law because it combines all of my education, skills, and experience that I have acquired through the years.

Peggy did what 2 other firms couldn't!
Peggy cared from the very beginning, she came recommended to me and I couldn't be happier. Every conversation I've felt heard and cared for and have the results (favorable decision) to prove it.

Trust Peggy
Peggy represented my daughter in her petition for Social Security disability benefits. We were anxious since my daughter's disability is pervasive but not obvious. Peggy was honest and let us know exactly what sorts of things the judge would and wouldn't consider, and she drew on her experience to ...

Thank God someone referred me to this Lawyer!
Not only did my son get to remain in Minnesota, but I gained confidence in a divorce that I did not know how to handle. Peggy Stevens focuses on facts, fairness, and what is right. She made me look like a respectible and responsible mother in front of the judge. My outcomes were fair and I am able to...
