I called seeking advice as to whether or not we had an actionable situation. I tried to explain what the situation was, and he cut me off, numerous times. Once to the point of having to ask if I could finish explaining. He still cut me off.
He said he can spend his time better with people paying $300 per hour, and getting more done.
He also said it is too much to expect that our mother be safe from residents in the care facility. That there is nothing we can do to provide a safe environment for our mother (there's always something you can do - even if it's moving her to another facility).
I found him to be rude, abrupt and dismissive. Certainly not an advocate for us and/or our situation. Must have caught him on a bad day (?)

Julian used our time and his very well on elder law issues for my parents. He cuts to the chase, which I appreciate, when I am paying for his time. He gave us the necessary information, advice and instructions clearly and concisely, and answered all our questions thoroughly, while keeping the billable time to a minimum.
After the elderlaw issues were concluded, I engaged him again for some estate planning for myself. Another good experience.
