Excellent Divorce Attorney

I would highly recommend Elizabeth Clysdale if you have questions and/or concerns regarding divorce or are heading down that path. Elizabeth's experience, judgement, acumen and overall legal prowess/aptitude was impressive and allayed my fears. She is extremely knowledgeable and fair and really str...ives to find a 'common ground' and/or solution between both parties that will work well and maintain a cost-effective basis. Elizabeth has a calming presence about her that genuinely helped me feel comfortable and confident in having her navigate me through my divorce - she did an excellent job throughout the entire process.

Highly Reccommened

Elizabeth Clysdale has represented me for a period of years in a family law matter. I trust her completely. She was easy to work with, on top of each matter as it arose, and always kept me informed of what was happening and what would be happening next. She was very knowledgable in anticipating a ...referee's decision and in using the best possible strategy. I had favorable outcomes in numerous matters with her as my attorney. She was fair financially, using a legal assistant when possible to keep my costs down, and in the end, she worked with me to allow me time to pay my bill. I would highly recommend her to friends in need of legal assistance (and have actually done so).

self righteous and doesn't represent your interests

Ms Clysdale was recommended by a pro-bono attorney who represented battered woman and described her as a "very knowledgeable" attorney. In the end it was an ironic mistake to hire her. Ms Clysdale thought she was doing the right thing by not listening to any of the interests that were important to me.... She continously disregared the facts of the case which ultimately resulted in my house going into foreclosure because she convinced the judge to allow someone who was not on the mortgage to live in the house but make no payments. Additionally she ignored the recommendations of the guardian ad litem which resulted in the incorrect child support decision which I (a non lawyer) was able to correct without any additional professional legal help. In retrospect the best thing that could have happened was that she decided to drop me as a client in the middle of the case. I was forced to learn quickly, but I succeeded much more in the end without her than with her. Why should you pay thousands of dollars for an attorney who caused more harm than good. The impression I got from her is that it was more important to maintain good relations with the other parties attorney than it was to represent my interests.
