J. Dudley kindly helped me resolve a case involving supposed 'damage' to an Avis rental car at DLH airport, and he was efficient, professional and timely in his response. Although I am sure it was a minor case for him, monetarily, it was a major headache and financial set-back for me when I receive...d a claim after returning a rental car that there were 'scratches', which included a large, unreasonable bill for repair, LOU and administrative fees regardless of the fact I had photos of the car upon return showing no damages that I had caused, and an eye-witness who also verified in writing that there was no damage to car. Avis customer service dept. would not help me as they claimed that car was independently owned, of which I was never forewarned by Avis or Priceline, and only later learned that company had terrible BBB ratings and multiple complaints by clients for claims of supposed damage to cars after return. I had no leverage to deal with the rental car owner, but J. Dudley resolved the matter in 1 week and the claim was cancelled, which was a huge relief for me. I had felt powerless against a huge rental car company who unscrupulously tacked on various large fees for supposed scratches after car had already been returned undamaged to Avis airport parking lot, and was very grateful for Mr. Dudley very quickly eliminating this claim. I also appreciated that he has a sense of humor, acts human, and treats his clients with respect and concern.
