John Paul J. Gatto

J.P. Gatto spent nearly 15 years on the other side. As a litigator at a major St. Paul firm, he represented businesses and insurance companies in personal injury and commercial cases, which means he knows exactly how insurers value claims, where they push back, and what it takes to beat them. He brought all of that to Swor & Gatto, where he now represents injured people instead of the companies across the table.

That perspective is rare, and for clients it's a real advantage: J.P. can anticipate the defense's strategy because he used to run it. He's a veteran of jury trials across the country involving catastrophic and life-changing injuries, and he's comfortable taking a case all the way to a verdict when an insurer won't offer what's fair.
