I hired him for my divorce at the same time I had retained another attorney in the law firm for an auto accident. When the accident was being settled & I was told what my settlement was, I received a call from John within 10 minutes of leaving their office. John wanted to take his services out of my ...settlement. First, we had an agreement that he would get paid when the house SOLD. However, he did not help with that and referred the issue to another attorney (which cost me another $2,000). Later that evening I received a call from the attorney that help with the accident apologizing to me foright John's actions. He then told me he spoke with John & they came up with an amount for me to pay to consider the account paid in full. I agreed, sent a check with a short message telling them I fired John. At the time I did not file charges due to the fact I was employed by his brother.
