Keith Ambrose Steckbauer

Since 1993 Keith has worked in the local courts, (Outagamie, Waupaca, Winnebago, and Shawano Counties) and in the local communities (New London, Dale, Hortonville, Appleton, Fremont, Weyauwega, and Neenah-Menasha). During that time he has gained the respect and trust of other lawyers and, just as importantly, learned who to trust and respect in the legal community.

Keith Steckbauer graduated from Rhinelander High School, home of the Hodags, in 1986. He then went to St. Norbert College, graduating in 1990 with a bachelors degree in History. He graduated from UW Wisconsin Law School in 1993 and started helping families just like yours. Families and people worried about what has happened and what will happen, such as ” How to deal with an arrest on Friday night”, to ” how do I make sure I get to parent my child?”

Keith Steckbauer is part of the community. He was the Town Chairman of Dale for 4 years. He was an elected member of the New London School board from 2007 to 2014, serving 4 years as President. He has helped reinvigorate the local cub scout pack 3083, and is now involved in Boy Scouts through Troop 36 in Hortonville. He is actively involved in his Church, the New London United Methodist Church serving on the board of Trustees as well as chair of the Endowment committee. He has participated in mission activities, including a trip to serve underprivleged youth in Kansas City. He is a past Director of the New London Girls Youth Softball Association. He has provided significant pro bono services to local groups such as the New London Fast Break Club, Youth Baseball and Youth Softball. He is a current Director of First State Bank, headquartered in New London. He has served Waupaca County as a Circuit Court Judge in 2014 and Outagamie County as Court Commissioner for over 10 years.

Keith and his wife Jodi have two children, Ellen and Adam, who are involved in scouts, softball, school and church activities. Keith and Jodi believe to be part of a community you need to be active. They and the kids participate in church and community activities that reach out and help others.
