I retained Attorney Schubert's services for a very emotionally difficult divorce. During my initial consultation, he explained the different options available (mediation, collaborative or traditional litigation) so that I could choose what would work best for my individual situation. I was previously... unaware there were "options". Attorney Schubert was also very professional when dealing with my soon to be ex-spouse...much more so that I was able to be! He realizes the level of stress and emotional strain people go through during divorce and how it can affect decision-making, so he explained all of the steps involved very thoroughly and also provided a binder of detailed information to further assist me when talking with trusted friends and relatives. This relieved a lot of anxiety surrounding what to expect with court appearances, etc. I felt as though he was working with me, not only to help me understand what to expect during the process and why, but also to help me make a smoother transition to life post-divorce.
