•Would not cross examine the police officer that did not read me my rights. (Stated, "That doesn't matter.") •His secretary hangs up on you. •Wrote multiple letters to him while incarcerated asking him to file for a bond reduction. He managed to complete this simple task 8 months later after I said... I would fire him if he didn't get me in for the bond modification hearing. •The confidential informant in my case was under the influence when he was questioned by a drug detective. He failed to bring that up or even cross examine the CI or that specific detective.

In search of an attorney to represent us in WI (as we reside in AZ) we contacted Thorson via telephone. Without our knowledge, he accepted us as clients knowing that his wife worked with the opposing party and that they attend dinner parties together with not only the opposing side but the Guardian A...d Litem in the case as well. After receiving funds he stopped answering the phone or responding to emails. We met with Thorson the day before the hearing and he had NOT prepared for the case. Thorson did not inform us of expert testimony provided by the opposing party, or provide expert testimony on our behalf, he did not ask that the GAL recuse herself because of her personal ties to the opposing party, and he refused to present damaging evidence of deceit and manipulation, sexual and psychological abuse, drug abuse and addiction, rehab never completed, drug testing, request an interstate compact to prove the father to be fit, place the fathers civil rights above the opposing party who is the maternal grandmother, Thorsons friend and Thosons's wife's coworker, investigate and determine the plethora of false statements made by the opposing party, depose the opposing party or expose the ongoing relationship involving a twice registered sex against the opposing party. When questioned by the Office of Lawyer Regulations Thorson claimed he didn't present any of the evidence mentioned above because he was afraid it would anger the judge, not because he was biased from his relationship with the opposing side! He wanted to be the bigger person in the room and not point fingers. That's what we needed to do to prove the opposing side was unfit and untruthful. Being aware of the GAL and judge's bias he should have done what was necessary to have our case moved to another court in order to guarantee us due process. We have suffered tremendous financial losses but most importantly the loss of our precious granddaughter. Even thou prior to the hearing we had a 10 year relationship with our granddaughter, due to Thorson not getting even one measure in place at this hearing, we have been cut off entirely from our granddaughter for the past 5 years. We not only didn't gain anything from Thorson representing us, he caused us to lose what we had. Not even in complete desperation would I recommend Thorson.
