Well to say my divorce was challenging would be an understatement! I had a lot of medical issues during my divorce and it took a lot of patience to work with me. The thing that stands out to me most about Michelle is her knowledge of the cases. I felt like I was the only case she had. I had been... divorced before and had terrible experiences with my lawyer mixing up my case with others and being unprepared at hearings. Michelle studies her cases well, I never felt like I was on the back burner. She is wonderful to work with and I apprecieated her presence in the room vs. feeling like I was a distraction. There was always continuity with her team and great communication on how the case was progressing. I definitely think her fees were reasonable compared to the amount of time and energy she put into my case. She was so easy to work with I almost forgot she was a lawyer... One of a kind!

I was in a horrible car accident and hired the firm in which Ms. Archterberg was an attorney. Ms. Archterberg was my attorney and we worked very close together for three years. There were days that were very difficult and she was always available to not only hear what I was saying; however, she act...ually listened to what I had to say or not say. Michelle initially co-counseled and then soloed a number of post-decree custody matters for me. While her years in practice may be more limited than some ... her commitment and honesty are more boundless than most. Michelle seems to appreciate the personal stress and confines of the situation and i...s fair and understanding regarding her fees. Her legal assistant, Malori, deserves similar accolades. Together, they were a great team to work with and through a very difficult situation. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending, and would personally seek Michelle's representation again in future custody matters.

I was referred to Michelle and then hired her for a custody dispute. Initially this was a time sensitive matter and Michelle went above what she must to make sure all was handled efficiently for my son and me. She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire system and wasn't afraid to be blunt and h...onest about everything. I've had other attorneys and dealt with more over the course of the last decade and this is the first time that I didn't feel completely helpless through the process. As a male in family court we fight an uphill battle and Michelle made sure that every fact was brought forward to leave no dispute as to who was being honest or what were reasonable options.
