Peter agreed to take my case - to correct a situation with my neighbor over a continued pattern of harassment and threats. After I signed his engagement letter and sent a retainer check, Peter Lloyd stopped communicating with me his client by any means, email phone or letter. And five (5) weeks aft...er giving written notice to my neighbor that I had retained Peter Lloyd of Lummis, Lloyd and Barkley, and still no replies from my attorney, he suddenly resigned. His actions violates the Wisconsin Bar Code of Professional Conduct. I am a college grad, was an officer in the US Navy, have engaged other attorneys on higher profile cases and won. My ethics are high. Watch out. Be wary before you call him, and if you do retain him, watch out. Your attorney may be your worst enemy. Peter Lloyd was. I will file a grievance with the Wisconsin Bar.
