Slow, very little attention to detail

Mr. Redfield was my attorney for my divorce and I had to constantly check on progress and remind him of information we had already covered. He was constantly talking over me and answering questions before I finished asking assuming that I didn’t know anything and often wasting both our time having to... reiterate questions. In the end he sat on the final agreement (prepared by my ex’s lawyer) so long that there was not time to look for any changes or discrepancies and then I was simply stuck.

Extremely difficult divorce

From the outset Jared was a true professional. I was entering into what became an extremely difficult divorce case which was further complicated by my loss of job and an opposing attorney that would say and do anything his client wished regardless of facts. Jared will listen and advise accordingly.... His calming demeanor helped me when things were at there most difficult. Jared is compassionate and actively cared about me during the whole process. There were hard times for me personally and Jared was there to listen and give comforting expert guidance and a plan forward. After a hard fought case, Jared prevailed and won the case. I cannot imagine having a more compassionate, knowledgeable and professional attorney representing me throughout this whole process.

Don’t hire!

i hired Jared as a recommendation from my employee assistance program. He was cheep, which was right up my ally since this was supposed to be an open and shut case. After the initial consultation he nearly completely fell off my grid. He barely answered my emails and I would have to leave several mes...sages with his secretary to the point of complaint in order to get a return call back. When I called to ask about questions about my case he said (twice) that he hadn’t received the 55pages of scanned material I had sent him. And when we actually got to court he acted again as if he had never seen the files I sent! Several times early on I had asked about countering for frivolous lawysuits but by the time we actually went to court, he hadn’t filed anything at all and flat out lied about how the process worked! Then during the attorney pretrial meeting I heard him telling the other lawyer what a great guy he (the other lawyer!) was. WTF?! At no time did he explain the trial to me or advise that I was going to be put on the stand and/or what kind of questions I should expect. Worse lawyer ever!!! There is no way possible that his 5 star reviews are real. No way!

DON'T USE THIS ATTORNEY!

He will not stand up for you in court and will side with the other lawyer just to close the case because it don't matter to him what happens to you as long as he's got your money already. He lied to me on what some terminology was that was used in court which cost me thousands of dollars in my divorc...e!before my divorce hearing he was discussing the case with the other attorney and told me I must leave the room while they discuss what happens. I would not use him to fight anything! This man should be disbarred for his law practices!

The best lawyer in Portage County

I went to 3 consultations before meeting Attorney Redfield. I noticed the drastic difference between he and the others right away. He took time to get all the details from me - not just the paperwork. He then explained everything very thoroughly, in terms I understood, but most importanlty WE WON
