Don’t hire!

i hired Jared as a recommendation from my employee assistance program. He was cheep, which was right up my ally since this was supposed to be an open and shut case. After the initial consultation he nearly completely fell off my grid. He barely answered my emails and I would have to leave several mes...sages with his secretary to the point of complaint in order to get a return call back. When I called to ask about questions about my case he said (twice) that he hadn’t received the 55pages of scanned material I had sent him. And when we actually got to court he acted again as if he had never seen the files I sent! Several times early on I had asked about countering for frivolous lawysuits but by the time we actually went to court, he hadn’t filed anything at all and flat out lied about how the process worked! Then during the attorney pretrial meeting I heard him telling the other lawyer what a great guy he (the other lawyer!) was. WTF?! At no time did he explain the trial to me or advise that I was going to be put on the stand and/or what kind of questions I should expect. Worse lawyer ever!!! There is no way possible that his 5 star reviews are real. No way!

Multi-State Child Custody/Support Success Story

I had a Custody battle that was stretched over several different states (with Court Orders in Texas, Colorado, and Wisconsin; the mother now living in Kentucky, and myself residing in Florida). My daughter’s mother would move, deny me visitation or go against the court order and so I had to spend m...oney trying to get the previous state orders registered in the new state so that they could be enforced. That was a process all in itself. Then I would try to modify the Custody Order and my daughter’s mother would move again. Needless to say, when this case arrived in Wisconsin, most attorney’s told me it was to complex, that I needed to get all the orders done in one state, yet the previous states would not have anything to do with the case due to no one living in that state anymore. I was able to hire an attorney to register my case in Wisconsin but left me high and dry after receiving his retainer because he did not want to fight for me and for my daughter, but had expressed that I should simply do whatever the Court and the Court appointed GAL said. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I live in Florida and cannot simply drive around down the street to me with any attorney. Mr. Redfield was recommended to me for his experience with complex cases with multiple state jurisdictional issues. As would anyone, I wanted the matter settled ASAP. My case did take longer then I wanted, but Mr. Redfield was able to overcome multiple legal hurdles to include my daughter’s mother quickly moving to another state in the middle of this processes. I thought she was going to circumvent the legal system once again but Mr. Redfield was able to continue my case in Wisconsin. What I have observed of Mr. Redfield is that his studies the court’s mood and all those involved in the case. This allowed him, I believe, to tackle those legal hurdles one at a time. The bottom-line is my daughter has been living with me now for over a year. Mr. Redifeld’s Law Office continued to assist me in my case and was able to resolve my Child Support issue that was still on going from the original TX order. I know that I must have bugged the daylights out of his office with phone calls at times, but I was always treated with respect and kept up-to-date on my case. Thank you Attorney Jared Redfield, and thanks to your staff for their dedication and commitment to see my case through to the end.

Good attorney that helped me through a very difficult time in my life

Jared and his staff were very supportive during my whole divorce process. My divorce went beyond the 120 days and into placement issues. Whenever I had questions or concerns someone responded to me on a timely basis. I always felt informed and comfortable during the process. During our meetings J...ared always listened to what I had to say and never made me feel like he didn't have time to listen to me or answer my questions.
