OUTCOME: NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES

Client charged with the alleged daytime shooting of a rival drug dealer. Portions of the events are recorded on a local surveillance camera and multiple eyewitnesses gave statements to police. Client ... looking at life sentence. At trial, Mr. Reynolds was able on cross examination to break down the witnesses stories and show the jury that they were either lying about what happened or didn't see the shooting. Jury acquitted on all charges.

OUTCOME: NOT GUILTY - Agg Assault

Client charged after he was shot by an unknown assailant after an argument. (Yes, he was charged!). Client was facing a sentence of at least 10 to 20 years. Prior to my representation, Client gave a s ... tatement to police admitting to possessing a firearm and shooting at the unknown maleï»¿ after the argument. At trial, I was able to successfully develop a self-defense case through cross- examination of the Commonwealth's own witnesses, who admitted at trial that she/he never saw my Client with a gun and while looking at my Client heard guns shots from the unknown assailant. Also, my investigation of the incident resulted in a finding a witness who saw the unknown assailant start shooting first. Due to the Client's statement admitting possession of the firearm, the Client was found guilty of the possession of the firearm, but not the more serious assault charges.
