Biography
Leah Derusha is a graduate of Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Pre-Law. Leah then went on to graduate from Marquette University Law School. She provides expert legal services to Family Law clients throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. Leah also provides representation to children as a Guardian Ad Litem in Manitowoc, Marinette and Oconto Counties. She is experienced in child custody and placement cases, paternity actions, child support, maintenance (alimony) divorces, legal separation and criminal matters.
As a law student, she was a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Morrison, Circuit Court Judge in Marinette County. She also completed internships for the Wisconsin Public Defenders office in both Peshtigo and Milwaukee Counties. During her time at Marquette University, Leah was a member of the Association for Women in Law and the Pro Bono Society. She was a volunteer for the Family Law Help Desk in the Milwaukee County Courthouse for two years.
