Compassionate & Understanding

John was knowledgeable, extremely compassionate and efficient. John was very personable and really listened to me. At our first meeting he put my mind at ease and it was clear it wasn't about running up the bill but he actual had my family's best interest at heart. And best of all we won our case! I ...am very grateful to John for his personal and detailed attention to my case. I highly recommend John D'Angelo!

Unprofessional and unethical

Hiring Mr. D'Angelo was a mistake and a waste of my time and money. I could never get a hold of him and he did not keep me informed at all. Two friends of mine had received the same exact charges as mine and had went to court without hiring a lawyer and received a better deal than me. Although this ...might not be Mr. D'Angelo's fault, he went ahead and met with the district attorney again charging me a very large sum for it claiming that his paralegal had said I requested it. There was too much miscommunication between him and his paralegal since he does not care to deal with his clients directly. He kept adding to the bill and finding ridiculous things to charge me for without ever getting the ok from me. He takes advantage of his clients and tries to squeeze as much money out of them as possible. Dealing with him has been one long headache, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

Big promises-nothing delivered.

Beware! Talks a big game but will settle for anything. If your case is minor ($$) he will not go out of his way.Doesn't investigate any leads in cases, just waits for prosecution to offer something. Doesn't keep client informed and is out of touch frequently. Expensive but not worth it. In the end yo...u can do better on your own, sadly. Terrible choice.

Custody

I met with John in March of 2012. I had been served papers that my ex was taking me to court for custody of our daughter. I had 6 days to find an attorney and get prepared for court. From the moment I met with John he was very helpful, laid my options out on the table for me and told me what I could ...be up against. John is an amazing attorney. He is wonderful at keeping you informed as to what is going on in the case and has a great responsive time to emails and phone calls. He has a huge heart from what I can see and trys to make the worst situation a little easier. I must have called John with some of the dumbest questions but he never once made me feel like they were dumb questions. I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for an attorney. If you are looking for an attorney who will put your feelings and case at high importance John is the guy!! I have never worked with a lawyer before, but have seen how some attorney's do not put their clients case at very high importance and feel blessed that I have an attorney that cares. We go back to court in a week and a half and as nervous as I am I am excited for this to hopefully be over. John agan is a wonderful attorney and if I ever need an attorny again John will most definately be it.
