Mark D. Skvara

Mark Skvara handled a criminal case for one of our relatives. He did an excellent job throughout the entire process! He even went to the jail to talk/check up on our relative BEFORE we even retained him....which is amazing! Had temporary Power of Attorney papers drawn up and hand delivered them to ...us ...at no charge. Again, amazing. Mark always kept us informed, explained legal terms and proceedings to us and just what to expect throughout it all. Either Mark or his legal secretary Kate ( who is great! ) were always available to talk with us ...they were patient with us in answering our numerous questions, showed true compassion towards our relative and our family and truly made what was an extremely difficult time for everyone much easier to go through. Mark knows what he is doing in and out of the courtroom and got our relative a great deal in the end. Mark then offered to write a letter of recommendation for our relative for a job interview. We would highly recommend Attorney Skvara to anyone seeking legal counsel as he gets the job done...and done right. We are happy to say that we have made a great friend in the process also!

I am not a bitter person but I will warn anyone considering Mark Skvara to stay as far away as you can. Mr. Skvara provided the worst advise to my family and I throughout my divorce and custody case. I firmly feel as though Mr. Skvara forced me into filing divorce when I had no interest in doing so.... Moreover, he negotiated, prepared and pressured me into agreeing to sign a document which has now kept me from my children for over 13 months! I am not a person to be easily coerced into doing anything, however, Mr. Skvara's theatrics the morning of my scheduled trial were damning for the relationship between my children and myself and even my ex wife. I truly feel as though he had not prepared at all for the hearing and this was an easy way to get out of doing so. Very unprofessional and I was lied to by Mr. Skvara on several occasions. Again, I am not upset about losing a case or the lost of many, many thousands of dollars as much as I am about the poor job of representing Mr. Skvara did in my case and the years it will take to repair relationships with my children and family because of his lack of representation. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY! I assure you that you will not be pleased.
