Mark D. Skvara

Mark has represented me twice, both times he charged me a very fair flat rate. Both of the cases he represented me in were criminal cases with multiple felony charges. Both times he was able to literally save my life. These cases started out with other legal counsel telling me I would face jail and p...ossible prison, both times Mark was able to have all felony charges dismissed as well as keep me out of jail. The level of compassion Mark exhibits is unmatched by any other lawyer I have met, and I've dealt with a few. He goes above and beyond every time. I have also had several friends retain him for his services with very similar results. I wouldn't even consider hiring anyone else.

Mark Skvara handled a criminal case for one of our relatives. He did an excellent job throughout the entire process! He even went to the jail to talk/check up on our relative BEFORE we even retained him....which is amazing! Had temporary Power of Attorney papers drawn up and hand delivered them to ...us ...at no charge. Again, amazing. Mark always kept us informed, explained legal terms and proceedings to us and just what to expect throughout it all. Either Mark or his legal secretary Kate ( who is great! ) were always available to talk with us ...they were patient with us in answering our numerous questions, showed true compassion towards our relative and our family and truly made what was an extremely difficult time for everyone much easier to go through. Mark knows what he is doing in and out of the courtroom and got our relative a great deal in the end. Mark then offered to write a letter of recommendation for our relative for a job interview. We would highly recommend Attorney Skvara to anyone seeking legal counsel as he gets the job done...and done right. We are happy to say that we have made a great friend in the process also!

I hired Mr. Skvara to represent me in my custody case for placement of my children. I received his name from a good friend and well know local attorney. Mr. Skvara fought along side me thru the entire process which is an incredibly emotionally draining process. I felt that every step of the way Mark ...was fighting for me and what was in the best interest of my children. He got to know my children thru me to gain the confidence in what he and I was fighting for. His advise was spot on and even when I would get negative with the process he would get me ready to fight for the most important thing, my kids. I truly feel he was fighting for the same things and for the same reasons I was. I will be forever grateful I found Mark to represent me in the biggest fight of my life. I am not a bitter person but I will warn anyone considering Mark Skvara to stay as far away as you can. Mr. Skvara provided the worst advise to my family and I throughout my divorce and custody case. I firmly feel as though Mr. Skvara forced me into filing divorce when I had no interest in doing so.... Moreover, he negotiated, prepared and pressured me into agreeing to sign a document which has now kept me from my children for over 13 months! I am not a person to be easily coerced into doing anything, however, Mr. Skvara's theatrics the morning of my scheduled trial were damning for the relationship between my children and myself and even my ex wife. I truly feel as though he had not prepared at all for the hearing and this was an easy way to get out of doing so. Very unprofessional and I was lied to by Mr. Skvara on several occasions. Again, I am not upset about losing a case or the lost of many, many thousands of dollars as much as I am about the poor job of representing Mr. Skvara did in my case and the years it will take to repair relationships with my children and family because of his lack of representation. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY! I assure you that you will not be pleased.
