Jake

Chris did an absolute amazing job, I was looking at 120 days in jail and the possibility of losing my career, he told me exactly what to do in order to save my career. In the end he got me the minimum sentence and saved my career. He is veteran friendly and will go above and beyond to help you in you...r case. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

False Expectations, Minimim Effort, Horrible Follow Up

DO NOT HIRE!! I’m a professional automotive consultant who does not live in Green Bay. I got a warning for speeding on i43 going 79mph & as a result got charged with 2nd OWI blowing .101 on officer’s breathalyzer. I was not belligerent or swerving in the least bit. My only infraction should have been... speeding. I blew .08 when I arrived to the jail shortly after blood draw. I kept insisting on performing my own evaluation as mentioned in the consent form which was read to me by the police officer. I asked countless times how I was to go about performing my own evaluation because I’ve been blatantly false accused by other police departments in the past. I ultimately agreed to have my blood drawn with the understanding that I’d be able to get my own evaluation once released & that my license would remain valid. Ironic how sure enough, conveniently for them, the BAC results came back at .102 which bumped me up to the next level of severity on charges. When I asked Chris about performing my own evaluation on the first visit to his office he replied “no one’s ever done that” instead of informing me of the proper processes & procedures. There was minimal effort on Chris’ behalf throughout the entire process. Right away he set false expectations in regards to helping me w/ not losing my license since it’s essential for my career. He sent the initial administrative review letter to DMV which I appreciated. However, he absolutely dropped the ball when it got to the 2nd step in the process which involved submitting a judicial review through GB court system within a certain time period which HE NEVER DID!!! Multiple emails were ignored & I barely received follow up (if any) throughout my whole experience. I had to insist many times for a simple call back in regards to my questions. He then set false expectations AGAIN on our last appointment before my hearing making me plead no-contest since he’d be asking for 5 days opposed to 25 days in jail, a transfer to my county, & the possibility of getting gps bracelet for a fee which all sounded reasonable. When it came down to it, he asked for 15 days instead of the 5 days which we had discussed prior to hearing. He didn’t even mention transfer to my county where I’ve worked for 5 years & recently purchased my first home at. In the end I got 20 days in brown county jail, 13 months suspended license, 13 months interlock, assessment classes, and I don’t even know how many more fee’s that are yet to come as a result of his weak statements & poor consulting. After my hearing, he’s only responded to one email w/ a phone number to Brown County jail & Huber office. No initiative on Froelich’s behalf whatsoever. He has ignored me since in regards to helping me at least transfer to my county. Again, I don’t live in Green Bay.. it’s not easy for me to make a trip to get necessary paperwork which was the whole reason as to why I hired a lawyer. I hired him in the hopes that he’d help me thoroughly since I was appointed a public defender my first OWI for a .07 at the age of 20 when I got stuck in snow & could not afford a reputable lawyer at the time. I would have been better off representing myself. Complete waste of money.

Split Personality

I'm reading these reviews and wondering who was the attorney for these cases because it was NOT the same gentleman I met in the courtroom. Mr. Froelick is the single best thing that happened to me in my divorce. Why? Because, my wife hired him. He never tried to negotiate with me once. He would show ...up for a court date and literally throw me the proposed settlement, which was the same as the last one with minor changes. I would tell the judge why it wouldn't be acceptable (again) and a new date would be set. He was obviously just dragging things out. If you didn't pick it up, I did represent myself. We eventually settled for exactly what I offered the day after my now ex-wife left except, thanks to Chris, she wound up paying double the child support I asked for. She also had a huge bill from him and a guardian ad litem who was a joke and me and my EX partitioned the court to have him removed for his total lack of professionalism. It has been three years and there are still papers Chris Froelich hasn't filed from the divorce. Simple paperwork. Stuff that should have gone out day 2. I have no questions at all as to why I beat him in court when I never spent a day in law school and he did (supposedly).

Do some research and hire someone else!

I had hired chris to represent me and I was disappointed with him within the first few days. From repeatedly not returning to calls to canceling numerous court dates which only cost me more money as well as showing up late for court and phoned in to my final court date. He was extremely unproffesion...al through the whole process and wouldn't recommend if you want to win or not spend your life savings for a person who really only cares about money. Every time I called I had to explain my case over because he couldn't remember. Steer clear of this yahoo!
