Jennifer represented me in a criminal case. She took my case on as my public defender. I was initially impressed and from our first conversation that she actually wanted the facts before assuming I was guilty. This is rare for someone who has been in and have seen how these types of relationships g...o "for the most part". In my opinion and a majority of people who have been represented by a public defender share the feelings that they are there for the state. Not for the "defendant" their client. Usually, the goal or advice from the start without getting all the information is to plea out. The assumption of guilt is common to be assumed immediately. Not in my matter and I appreciated that even though I knew I was guilty I would be pleading out. The fact that she asked and entertained the conversation of the possibly of innocence spoke volumes and she gained my trust she was going to put in effort into my outcome. I later pled out and there where additional circumstances in my situation that factored in my crimes as well as my sentencing. I was pleased with the job you done for me. I truly believe that Public Defenders like you will make a difference in the lives you defend. Just the fact that you don't have preconceived assumptions. Thank you for your hard work.

Jennifer took on my case even though it was not a Criminal Defense Case. She was the only Lawyer out of so many that took it on...even though it was tough and a long shot due to Statute of Limitations. She kept me encouraged, yet didn't promise anything...yet looked for every angle. She was supportiv...e and understanding...and helped me stand taller in my fight for myself. I would recommend her to anyone...I wanted my daughter to meet her...so she could meet someone with character and determination and overall someone who wasn't out there to just shove you to the side.
