Gary Stephen Dodge Sr.

In 2012 I was thrown in jail on OWI charges. I had my mom give Gary my last $250 to hire him to assist my me legally, anyway he could. Well he took my $250 and I sat in jail and days went by. My mom called & called him. He finally came to see me in jail after about three weeks. I was relieved to fina...lly to see him, but here's what he told me, "ahh, this is your 4th OWI, you're going to prison." And I NEVER saw him again. (Well in Walmart a year later if that counts.) I ended up w/ a public defender and was given 9 mos in county jail. A complete waste of my last amount of money not to mention undue stress and anxiety @ the time.

I had hired him on some misdemeanor charges ptc d/c and ptc theft, moving some road cones, yes "moving". Think the main reason they pursued it is our driver took them on a high speed chase, and while it's Shawano, anyone that knows the place will fully understand. I really don't think Mr. Dodge looke...d at my case hardly at all. Every time he came to court he either "misplaced or forgot" to bring the proper paper work, the judge even got at him about it. I was at court numerous more times then I wanted to be because of this. If you plan on just going for a plea I'm sure he would be fine. I literally ended up paying him just to sight papers.

Gary did a good job getting me a deal on my sentence with the DA, he is an ok attorney for small issues, but if you have a very important court case, do not have him at your attorney, he makes many excuses for not working on your case, he didn't enter any evidence into exhibits, he didn't do any actu...al research or phone calls, he did not get estimates and he let the DA tear me up on the stand, and Gary's cross examination to me was and what did you find in your research? I have hired an actual attorney for my appeal who is actually going to do work on my case.
