Kathleen M. Gionis

I hired KG because of her reputation of being aggressive. She started off strong, requested a restraining order to be put into effect, but then left the case in limbo for months!! Only to 1/2 ass the remaining paperwork and settlement. She ended up withdrawing as my attorney 1 week away from the... contested hearing!! I have been going thru divorce for 2.5 years. It has been a nightmare and kathy has done nothing for my case except relentlessly bill me astronomical fees. I would not recommend her for anything.

Ms. Gionis, while slightly pricier than other local attorneys, was well worth the extra money. She was astute and tenacious, and worked to get me the best settlement that was reasonable to expect. She advised me at every step, and when she thought that the most fair offer was presented, she told me... rather than just keeping me stringing along for the fee. I was very pleased with the professionalism of both herself and her staff. They knew who I was every time I called, which was not something that I expected. She even discovered several mistakes that the other attorney made which would have cost me a good bit, and I'm very happy about that. I will retain Ms. Gionis if I should ever find myself in need of an attorney again.
