I came to work at Doar, Drill and Skow in the spring of 1990 as a law clerk.  My first assignments typically involved preparing cases for Jim Drill, Dell Skow and Tom Bell to try.  These three lawyers had almost 100 years of combined trial knowledge when I began working for them.  Consequently, I had a great opportunity of experience to absorb from.

Not long after passing the bar examination in 1991, I began  trying my own cases, and still working closely with the other more senior members of the firm.

As the years passed, my own trial practice developed.  Today I am lucky to still work with Jim Drill and Dell Skow as well as the other members of my firm: Lisa Drill, Matt Biegert, Aaron Nelson, Anne Schmiege, Christine Rasmussen and my wife, Annie Brose.

I also consider myself fortunate to work and live in a part of Wisconsin that retains its rural character, yet is close to the Twin Cities, where my wife and I grew up.

Annie and I have three school aged boys.  They are active in youth athletics - and, as a consequence, so are we.

Tremendous Asset to Your Case!
Mr. Brose was very meticulous in developing my case. He was always very professional and was able to ultimately win my case. I had reached out to him very close to the statutory deadline and he made sure all filings happened in a short amount of time to allow my suit to be filed. His expertise, creative ingenuity and thoroughness ultimately proved the demise of the other party to my suit. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Brose as an attorney!

Excellent!! Personal Injury Lawyer
Mike is a great guy and attorney. I was in a car accident in which I ended up having two surgeries. Mike took care of everything, insurance companies, doctors, hospitals, and anything else you could think of. I received a maximum insurance settlement from the person who hit. Mike made going through a horrible experience much easier. I would highly recommend Mr. Brose to anyone looking for an attorney who will really go beyond your expectations to get the job done and make things as painless and easy on you as humanly possible.

Great Personal Injury Lawyer
Mike is a great laywer. He took the time to meet with me in my home when I was too injured to go out. He "got the ball rolling" very fast and kept me updated step-by-step. I could concentrate on healing and getting well because Mike gave me the confidence that he was "on it." I was very satisfied with the settlement Mike got for me. His dedication, knowledge, kindness and patience impressed me. I will, and have, recommend Mike as a personal injury lawyer. He did a great job for me.

Premise Liability
I would have to say that this case,of my son and myself, is one case that would blow your mind away ,if given the chance to tell our story. It was a case so difficult, so painful, and one that was unbelievable that things like this really do happen in real life and not just the movies! A slip and fall....? ... to a car accident , which left my son in a coma for 11 days, 13 surgeries and a Tramatic Brain Injury for life. Mike Brose was impeccable! ( A man of Character) along with his staff that worked many long hours, days and years to give us the best out come of our case possible. If given the chance to change a few things through this hardship and challenging time in our lives... Sure I would ,had we known what we do today! One thing we do believe in, is Mike's Integrity, Kindness Respect and above all is Perseverance. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone!

Excellent experience/service if you have to hire an attorney.
My experience with Michael Brose was nothing short of A++. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, went above and beyond for my case, always kept me informed on the details of the case and what the next step would be in the case. He was well informed and passed that knowledge onto me as his client. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an attorney , and I would use him again in the future if need be. I can not say enough how satisified I was with his service. He will treat you like family - thats how much he cares!!!

Great Person to Have on Your Side!
Mr. Brose helped me go through all of the complicated mess of my car accident, which lasted almost four years. It was a frustrating time for me, and it was my first time going through such an event that included a deposition (HORRIBLE experience) and arbitration. Mr. Brose was a calm, steady figure throughout the event, and he was reassuring and positive. I also appreciated how he performed during the deposition and the arbitration. The only frustration I had was not being able to discuss the deposition and arbitration with him right away after they occurred; but, Mr. Brose was very busy and had a tight schedule to meet - we discussed the events later. The only other item that was a little frustrating was that I forgot to add one specific item to my expenses, and it was not caught by Mr. Brose or his assistant, and I ended up not getting reimbursed for the item. Ultimately, though, it was my mistake, not Mr. Brose's to try to catch. Mr. Brose is an excellent attorney, and I would definitely recommend his services to my friends and relatives. You should seriously consider Mr. Brose and Doar, Drill and Skow to take care of you in the trials of life.

Got me my settlement...
Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful dealing with the insurance company to get me a fair settlement for the car accident. Unfortunately the other person was under insured and i didn't have any insurance. (I was a passanger in the car) We got the max settlement that we could, and after fees and what not, there wasn't much left. I still had my medical bills to pay, not to mention life long back issues! Mike told me that I should keep the money and do something nice for myself. He said, don't worry about the hospital, they are a religous hospital, they won't take you to court. They will just send you bills in the mail for a while...need less to say, (being shortly out of high school, and not knowing any better) a few years later they took me to court. I ended up with a rather large judgement against me! He helped me and two others I know get a decent settlement from the insurance companies for accidents, but in the long run ended up costing me almost as much as what I got in the first place.

My personal review of Mike Brose handling of my PI case
Mike Brose was brought on board with my selected Attorney as lead counsel. With Mines experience and my personal injury claim, Mike Brose, stated it was a good case, which it was. We moved forward knowing we thought Mikes expertise was the nail needed. My injuries we’re definitely related to a motor vehicle accident. Needed shoulder surgery was done with unsatisfactory results. The surgeon and chiropractor both stated my shoulder has limited movement, I’m partially disabled due to weight restrictions. Pain has never subsided. During our three day jury trial, our witnesses testimonies were first hand knowledge of my now disability with additional pain Mike Brose’s focus during his two times at deliberations missed the huge, huge points the insurance company presented! Mike Brose failed to deliberate the crucial points of the insurance companies attorney points. A several hundred thousand claim was subdued to a $20,000 settlement. Which my endearing attorney, who spent timeless hours and hours on this case , received nothing, I received nothing. A perfect personal injury case was botched Mike Brose knows he failed my case, my attorney and I know he was at fault too.
