Teague D. Devitt

My practice includes the handling of personal injury and health care negligence matters, probate litigation, commercial litigation, general corporate law, appellate law, municipal law, severance and employment agreements, and general civil litigation.

I am a 1998 graduate with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication.  I obtained my law degree, magna cum laude, from UW-Madison in 2002. Due to my academic achievements in law school, I was honored with admission into the Wisconsin chapter of the prestigious Order of the Coif after graduation.

I have spoken on a number of civil litigation topics, have served as a judge for numerous law school Moot Court competitions, and authored a recent article for Wisconsin Lawyer magazine entitled, "It's What Mom Wanted:  P.O.D.s May Thwart Testators' Intent."  (Wis. Lawyer Mar. 2013)

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and camping with my wife and our young son, rooting for the Badgers, playing and watching tennis, running, cooking and eating very spicy food, and relaxing with a good book in my backyard hammock.
