Robert negotiated the terms of a Community Development Block Grant to allow his client to expand his business and create 20 to 30 new jobs.
Robert succesfully completed negotiations to allow three businesses to locate their facilities within the Tax Incremental District, which will add approximately $9,000,000 in assessed property values and 40 to 50 new jobs.
Robert assisted in the succesful passage of 2015 Wisconsin Act 178 providing more local control for land use decisions.
Robert successfully convinced a jury to enforce the terms of a listing contract against the defendants. This case is currently on appeal to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
Through the cooperation of the Town and the Developer, the Developer was able to remediate the former Town dump relieving the Town from future liability. The site was redeveloped as a commercial center.
Robert assisted in the successful passage of 2013 Wisconsin Act 280.
Robert assisted in the successful recalls of the alleged defective products, and resolution of the alleged reporting violations.
Robert successfully assisted in the passage of 2005 Wisconsin Act 201
Robert succesfully had the Plaintiff's case dismissed. This case is now the seminal case in Wisconsin for the proposition that the doctrine of issue preclusion may apply to issues resolved at Municipal Court trials.
