I have more than 20 years' experience representing men and women in divorce and paternity cases. I represent my clients in all aspects of family law, including placement, custody, child support, maintenance/alimony, property division, prenuptial agreements, establishment of paternity, and legal separation. I have developed several spread sheets to help clients analyze their assets, liabilities, and income.
My background as a small-business owner makes me uniquely qualified to understand, analyze, and litigate or settle the complex financial issues that often arise in family law cases. For example, I have considerable experience with difficult self-employment issues. My strong understanding of tax law helps my clients resolve issues of maintenance and child support. It is important to look beneath the surface of a party's tax return to determine the amount of income available for child support and maintenance. I have successfully argued on appeal that depreciation deductions should be allowed prior to determining income available for support. Conversely, some deductions that are allowed by the IRS for tax reduction purposes may not be allowable for determination of support.

Personable, efficient, and professional.
We came in anxious about the summon we got, but Keith did a great job walking us through the process and prepping us for court. When we mentioned money was tight, he made sure to keep things brief and to the point, and did his absolute best to keep us out of court. We ended up spending a reasonable a...

Great Job
Keith did a great job for me in a complicated custody case. After shopping around, one attorney recommended Keith because she thought he was great with complicated custody cases. I was most impressed with Keith’s ability to think outside the box and foster cooperation from the opposing attorney and G...
