Constance L. Anderson

My practice includes local government, land use, real estate and commercial development matters. As a municipal attorney, I provide general municipal representation to many local governments in Dane, Iowa, and Sauk Counties, in addition to providing special counsel to a wide spectrum of municipalities, special districts and intergovernmental commissions. I frequently work on regional and local projects involving wastewater treatment facilities and districts, and I have a range of experience from local sanitary districts to formation of regional intergovernmental commissions. My practice in this area includes site identification, real estate and easement acquisition, bidding, financing and construction, development of sewer use and connection fee ordinances, and general operations guidance.

In addition to public sector representation, I also practice extensively in private commercial real estate matters providing expertise on project development, negotiations, purchase and sale contracts, construction, commercial leasing, and related business entity formation.
