Biography
As President and Managing Shareholder of Murphy Desmond S.C., I primarily oversee the strategic direction and operation of the firm, including execution of growth plans, financial oversight, business development, and more. Also, I work closely with my sports law clients who include professional athletes and coaches. I assist them in contract negotiations and other legal matters related to their careers. Some of my clients include or have included University of Wisconsin Basketball Coach Bo Ryan, Detroit Pistons Head Coach Stan Van Gundy, Ohio University Basketball Coach Saul Phillips, Beau Allen and Chris Maragos of the Philadelphia Eagles, and other respected players and coaches.
