Kathleen Henry

Kathleen Henry launched Dairyland Public Interest Law in 2019 to make high-quality, affordable legal services accessible to those serving the public interest. Ms. Henry brings more than three decades of comprehensive legal experience, including leadership as President of Great Rivers Environmental Law Center, a respected nonprofit based in St. Louis, Missouri. Her extensive practice covers a wide range of matters, from criminal appellate work to environmental litigation on behalf of plaintiffs. Now based in Madison, Wisconsin, Ms. Henry is licensed in Wisconsin and Missouri, and is admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Throughout her career, she has achieved critical legal wins, such as securing public rights in local zoning processes, supporting community involvement in environmental regulation, and defending the right to online anonymity. Ms. Henry remains committed to advocating for clients in both Wisconsin and Missouri.
