My ex and I had her for an amicable uncontested divorce. She wasn’t particularly transparent about the process or overly timely with communication. We had some property which needed to be dealt with and she took it upon herself to do it the way she thought it needed to be done. My ex and I hadn’t tho...ught of it and then it became a minor point of contention because it was already in the document. She could have just asked us how we wanted to handle it. She put together the Marital Settlement Agreement and it had two glaring omissions. It didn’t mention child support or maintenance. She had already filed it with the court so had to make it an amendment. Just not as professional as I would have liked and she complicated an otherwise easy divorce.
