Jill Lendu Johnson

I was referred to Atty. Lendu Johnson by a pro bono UI lawyer in Madison. She took my case last minute, and she did a great job. I was accused of concealment and was looking at having to pay 17K including 40% fees back to UI and a possible felony charge. I was terrified, but Jill has the most calming... and optimistic personality. She coached me the weekend before my appeal and it helped me to feel confident, know what to expect from the process, and how to answer the judge’s questions honestly and competently. She also helped me understand that I had other options (appealing to LIRC) in case we lost. We’ll we didn’t! No concealment, and I ended having to pay back 3K instead of 17K.
