Biography
James R. Joling is the Managing Partner, Founder, and Owner of Joling Law, LLC. The firm was established in early 2023 to provide affordable legal representation to those who need it. The firm is primarily focused on Family matters including but not limited to divorce, paternity, and juvenile cases. The firm's mission is to provide zealous advocacy to its clients while keeping the cases best interests of the child focussed. Prior to hanging his own shingle, Attorney Joling served as an Associate Attorney for Murphy, Johnson, & Trampe, S.C. from January 2021 through September 2022.
A little about Attorney Joling is that he was born and raised in Kenosha, WI, attended Kenosha Bradford High School, and graduated with honors from the Univeresity of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Attorney Joling completed his J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law graduating cum laude. During law school, Attorney Joling competed on Michigan State's Child Welfare Moot Court team and contributed to Michigan State being ranked as the #1 Moot Court program in the nation in 2020. Attorney Joling focuses his practice on all areas of family law and understands the emotional and legal complexities surrounding family law cases including divorce, paternity, and post-judgment issues as he comes from a similar family dynamic. Outside of the workplace, Attorney Joling enjoys spending time with his wife, Alex, his dog, Sadie, is an avid fantasy football player, and enjoys all things Disney.
Attorney Joling also currently serves as a Guardian ad Litem in Racine County. This was a lifelong career goal of Attorney Joling's as his primary motivation for attending law school is was to ensure that each child receive the best individually tailored result in each case he is involved.
