I could always reach Atty. O'Connor, or she would return my call within 24 hours or less. She was honest. I sometimes didn't like the information, but she told me the truth about my options and gave me an honest opinion of how things would turn out. Her bill was reasonable, and she worked wit...h me on a payment plan after the initial retainer. I would recommend her.

Started out very strong. Seemed knowledgeable and competent. Moved quickly to start my case, and while present for all court appearances, seemed to be going through the motions more than actively participating. Never did get me the financial paperwork I was told she would bring with at "the next c...ourt date" that the respondent had to fill out. Never answered a letter I had about a final bill and what seemed to me a completely unnecessary $300 phone call on it, and since I wouldn't pay the final bill until having my concerns addressed, the office called me up with a very poor attitude trying to get the money from me. They seemed almost offended when I questioned the bill, and said they would call back after looking into it. When they did call back to say it was only .15 hours, not 1.5, while they did adjust the bill, they never did apologize for trying to bilk me out of an additional $300. And they still treated me as if I were the one trying to steal from them, rather than the one who was trying to not be gouged. Even after mailing the final payment with a letter outlining my dissatisfaction with this billing error and their treatment of it, she never bothered to reply, just cashed the check. That final interaction (or lack thereof) was enough for me to realize I would never deal with this law firm again.
