Personable, Friendly, Clear and transparent to how things will probably go

Kathryn was very friendly right from the beginning and always listened to what I had say to state the situation that happened and answered all the questions and concerns I had. Sometimes she had to look up certain questions to give me an accurate answer and I never felt rushed with Kathryn when it ca...me to talking about my case or reaching out for any questions I had. She would return all my calls the same day (unless it was a holiday) and would always put me at ease with the whole situation. She was always transparent with what the law states and what that would mean for my case and the most likely outcome. There was never a time I was mislead to thinking an outcome would be drastically different than what it turned out to be. Before each court session usually a day or two beforehand I would sit down with Kathryn or talk over the phone about what the session was, what questions might be asked, what her game plan was, and what information she needed from me and what I had to do (if anything at all). She was always well prepared for everything and I would know what to expect and I was never kept in the dark or blindsided by any moves she made. When it came time for mediation after several court sessions, she again sat down with me and came up with a game plan of what to go over in mediation and how I should ask for certain criteria to be in our agreement for mediation to be most likely obtained. She always made sure I was well armed before going into anything. Kathryn and her strategy got me what I wanted within the law of the state and I could not have chose a better lawyer to represent me. To this day she still answers any of my what if questions that may not actually happen until down the line, but she puts me at ease and reduces my stress by informing me how to handle those particular cases if they were to arise.

Great Support When Needed Most

Divorce is a life changing and traumatic experience I do not wish on anyone. Regrettably, after 30 years of more valleys than peaks and the realization the future did not look bright, it was my reality. I believe the expertise of my attorney, Kathryn Weaver, and her continuing support and patience ...were invaluable in helping me through this very emotionally challenging time. Months before signing on the dotted line to formally retain her services, she spent time listening to my story. She provided legal insight on both the positive and negative implications I'd be facing, and the pros and cons between a collaborative versus litigious process. Once I made my decision to proceed with the collaborative process, she was a strong advocate on my behalf. She pushed when my negotiations with my former spouse stalled and empathized when I was overwhelmed by it all. She never hesitated to advise when I was at risk of unnecessarily giving in more than necessary. She was dedicated to securing the best outcome for my post-divorce future. In addition to Kathryn's role as my attorney, the assistance I received from her office to finalize all the resulting paperwork, deed, and financial transfers, etc. was essential in helping me move on confident all the "t's were crossed and the i's dotted". I would recommend Kathryn to anyone looking for a strong legal partner who will provide valuable guidance and look out for their best interests.

Excellent Representation

What should have been a straight forward parting of ways, turned into a stressful nail biter of a divorce. Thru it all Attorney Weaver was a no nonsense voice of understanding and reason. In our first meeting she explained my legal position and her philosophy of obtaining a fair and equitable outco...me. She established my settlement goals and worked in a professional, non adversarial way to achieve them. Divorce is stressful even in the best of situations, so having her patient, stabilizing, and realistic representation, was calming in the chaos that I went thru. She was there when I needed her, mornings, evenings or weekends, whether to listen to me vent or focus my attention on what I had to do. If you find yourself in need of family law legal representation, you won't find better that Kathryn Weaver.

Unusually Fantastic!!

My divorce was one of the hardest times in my life. I needed a lawyer who would fight for me, yet who would be fair and not cut throat. I needed someone who would guide me through the legal process in an informative and compassionate manner. Someone honest and with integrity. Kathryn fit the bi...ll. She helped me understand what was happening, under girded, and made me feel safe. She understood when I was anxious. Kathryn is seasoned, ingenious in her scope of practice and just a downright wonderful lawyer. I would refer anyone and everyone to her.

Excellent lawyer

I chose Kathryn Weaver for my legal separation because she was very strong, determined, and knowledgable. It did take a little longer to settle the case with my husband, but in the end I received so much more than I expected, including my home and a substantial maintenance. I had no problem commun...icating with her by phone or email. Her fees were very fair. I am very pleased.
